A slight odor when opening the box can occasionally occur and is completely harmless.
Causes:
Adhesives & Materials: We use solvent-free adhesives to bond the sole and upper material. These may still have a slight odor shortly after production, but they are health-safe.
EVA Soles: This lightweight, shock-absorbing material may develop a typical "new shoe" smell.
Packaging: Since the products are packed immediately after production, the odor can collect inside the closed box.
Our tip:
Let the shoes air out for one to two days in a well-ventilated area – not in direct sunlight or near a heat source. The smell usually dissipates quickly.
