Merino wool is naturally water-repellent
Thanks to the lanolin it contains, it repels dirt and moisture – regular impregnation is usually not necessary.
When impregnation is still useful:
With frequent contact with moisture or snow
After regular washing or cleaning
For extra protection against dirt
Recommendation:
Use a solvent-free, breathable water-based spray – suitable for wool, felt, or leather. Spray evenly onto clean, dry shoes and let them dry at room temperature.
