Shoes made from Lyocell are produced using plant-based eucalyptus wood fibres. The material is especially soft, breathable, and moisture-regulating. Gentle care helps maintain these properties over time.
1. Everyday care
Lyocell is a fine, smooth material that stays beautiful for a long time when treated gently.
Regularly remove light dirt with a soft cloth or soft brush
Air out shoes well after wearing 🌬️
Allow heavier dirt to dry before carefully brushing it off
2. Washing – particularly gentle
Shoes made from Lyocell are machine washable if cleaned with special care:
Remove the insole before wash
Washable at max. 30 °C
Gentle or delicate cycle
Low spin speed (max. approx. 600 rpm)
No fabric softener
No bleach or chemical additives
Use a mild, pH-neutral delicate or wool detergent 🧼
Ideally wash in a laundry bag: Laundry Net
This care routine protects the fibre structure and preserves the material’s natural softness.
3. Hand cleaning (for light soiling)
Gently wipe with a slightly damp cloth
Loosen stubborn dirt carefully using a soft brush
Do not use aggressive cleaners or solvents
4. Drying – shape- and material-friendly

No tumble dryer
Do not place on radiators
Avoid strong heat exposure
