How should I wash my GIESSWEIN shoes? 🧼

If your model is machine washable according to the care instructions, we recommend the following:

1. Remove any removable insole or interchangeable footbed.
2. Wash the shoes at a maximum of 30°C.
3. Use a wool or gentle cycle.
4. Select a low spin speed of no more than approx. 600 rpm.
5. Use a mild, preferably pH-neutral wool or delicate detergent.
6. Do not use fabric softener, bleach or other chemicals.
7. Ideally, protect the shoes in a laundry bag.
8. Afterwards, allow them to air dry at room temperature.

Leather and cork models are best cleaned carefully using a suitable care product, a soft brush or a slightly damp cloth.

How do I clean leather and suede shoes? 🧽

Leather shoes should be cleaned particularly gently and according to the respective type of leather.

• Smooth leather: clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth and then apply a suitable leather care product.
• Suede: carefully remove dirt with a suede cleaning sponge. This allows the sensitive material to be cleaned gently while helping to restore its characteristic surface texture.
• Cork: clean carefully with a slightly damp cloth and avoid soaking the material.
