Is Shop Pay a credit card?
No. Shop Pay itself is not a credit card.

Can I pay with a credit or debit card via Shop Pay?
Yes. Shop Pay supports credit and debit cards.

Which payment methods are available through Shop Pay in Germany?
In Germany, card payments are currently available through Shop Pay.
PayPal, Klarna and Google Pay cannot be used within Shop Pay in Germany. If these payment methods are available in the regular checkout, they must be selected separately there.
Why does “Shop Pay” appear as the payment method on my order?
If you completed your order using the accelerated Shop Pay checkout, Shop Pay may appear as the payment method or payment channel on your order.
The actual charge is made through the payment method used in Shop Pay, for example a saved credit or debit card.
Do I have to enter my information again every time I use Shop Pay?
No. If you have already set up Shop Pay, your saved contact, shipping, billing and payment information can be reused for future purchases. This makes the checkout process faster.
How is a Shop Pay payment confirmed?
Depending on how Shop Pay is used, you may be asked to confirm your purchase.
Verification may take place, for example, using a Shop passkey or a one-time six-digit code sent by SMS or email.
Is my information stored securely with Shop Pay?
Shipping and billing information saved with Shop Pay is stored by Shopify on PCI-compliant servers.
The information required to process an order is provided to the respective store when an order is placed.
Where can I change the payment information saved in Shop Pay?
You can manage the information saved in Shop Pay directly through Shop Pay or your Shop account.
