If you return items from an order paid with Klarna, you only need to pay for the items you keep. đź’ł
Once GIESSWEIN has received and processed your return, we will update the corresponding order amount. Klarna will then update your payment plan accordingly.
What should I do when returning a Klarna order?
Please follow these steps:
- Return the items to GIESSWEIN according to our return instructions.
- Report the return directly in your Klarna account or Klarna app.
- Keep your return receipt and tracking number until your return has been fully processed.
- Check your Klarna account for updates to your payment plan.
Reporting your return to Klarna is important because Klarna can pause your payment plan while your return is being processed.
This can help prevent unnecessary payment reminders while your parcel is on its way back to GIESSWEIN.
What happens to my Klarna payment after the return?
Once GIESSWEIN has processed your return, the corresponding amount is reported to Klarna.
Klarna will then update your payment plan.
If you returned only part of your order:
You will only need to pay the remaining amount for the items you kept.
If you returned the entire order:
Once the complete return has been processed, Klarna will adjust or cancel the outstanding payment accordingly.
If you have already paid Klarna:
If you have already paid an amount that is later reduced due to your return, Klarna will process the corresponding refund after the return has been processed and the updated amount has been transmitted.
The way and timing of the refund may depend on the Klarna payment method you used.
My return has not been processed yet – what should I do?
GIESSWEIN return processing usually takes 14–21 business days.
During this time, we recommend keeping your return receipt and tracking number.
If you have not already done so, report the return in your Klarna account or Klarna app so that Klarna can pause the payment plan while the return is being processed.
Once your return has been processed by GIESSWEIN, Klarna will receive the updated order information.
⚠️ I received a payment reminder from Klarna even though I returned my order
If your return has not yet been processed, Klarna may still show the original amount as outstanding.
Please log in to your Klarna account and make sure that you have reported the return.
If you have questions about a payment reminder, payment due date or your Klarna payment plan, please contact Klarna Customer Service directly.
Can GIESSWEIN change or view my Klarna payment plan?
